Hi, I’m Oyinkan! I’m grounded in a deep appreciation for storytelling as both cultural archive and creative expression, my practice navigates the intersections of cinema, music, fashion, and contemporary African identity.
My work as a producer, project manager, and writer is shaped by a commitment to capturing narratives that bridge global influences and local realities. I also manage multidisciplinary artists.
I began studying film at 16, where I developed a deep appreciation for cinema as both a powerful medium and a time capsule, essentially a way to preserve and reimagine moments, cultures, and histories. That foundation later expanded through Fashion Journalism, Management, and hands-on experience in music video and short film production, as well as event and live performance work.
My career has taken me through collaborations with culturally influential brands and like minded creatives, working at the intersection of underground energy and mainstream visibility, while remaining attentive to the cultural codes and visual languages that define modern storytelling. Honestly, it’s always a fun time getting the job done :)
Now that I work mainly as a freelancer on certain projects, I continue to build bridges between disciplines, artists, and audiences, producing work that is immersive, collaborative, and grounded in cultural intention.
My work scope includes, but is not limited to:
Research
Production: Location Scouting, Scheduling, Budget Management & On-Site Management, Cast & Crew Coordination services.
Project Management (including rollouts, release strategies & outreach)
Creative Strategy
